Pioneers’17 (previously Pioneers Festival) is rightfully considered to be one of the leading European entrepreneurship events. It is the ultimate meeting point where over 2,500 tech founders, innovation executives, investors and journalists from over 100 nations meet to build partnerships and shape the future.
This year, Transmetrics was selected as one of the Top 500 most promising startups. In fact, that is not the first time when we attended the Pioneers Festival. Back in 2013, Transmetrics was selected as one of the Top 8 startups at the festival out of 850+ companies.
This year Pioneers’17 featured 500 selected startups and over 80 speakers including renowned global innovators such as the co-founders of Siri, Skype and Viv and the head of development behind Google Assistant. Among other speakers were Siraj Khaliq (Atomico), Beth Moses (Virgin Galactic), Andrew Chen (Uber), Kathryn Myronuk (Singularity University), Behshad Behzadi (Google), Melissa O’Young (Airbnb) and others. The event was supported by companies like PwC, Google, Intel, Austrian Post, European Commission, Salesforce, IBM, and others.
The event took place at the incredible Hofburg Palace, which was built in the 13th century, and is the former imperial palace in the center of Vienna, Austria. Currently, the palace is the official residence and workplace of the President of Austria.
Pioneers establishes business relationships between startups, executives, and investors. Established in 2009 in Vienna, Pioneers helps redefine industries by creating the platform to develop future technologies and introduce cutting-edge solutions.
