Transmetrics Attends the 20th Annual Logistics CIO Forum: Europe in Amsterdam

On March 6th and 7th, Transmetrics participated in the 20th Annual Logistics CIO Forum: Europe, the meeting point for the logistics innovators organized by eyefortransport (eft), which took place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This year, the event brought together more than 200 senior IT executives and industry experts from Europe’s leading logistics providers to discuss the biggest challenges and opportunities that technology disruption is creating for the industry.

Logistics CIO Forum: Europe is considered to be among the best European Logistics and Supply Chain events. It brings together senior IT, digital and technology leaders from the world’s biggest and most advanced Logistics Service Providers. The main goal of the event is to discuss the changing role of innovation, the evolving responsibility of the CIO in logistics, and how to adopt the latest technology to enable winning customer experiences. Among the speakers of the conference were such expert IT leaders as Markus Sontheimer (CIO/CDO, DB Schenker), Andreas Pichler (Head of Innovation, Gebrüder Weiss), Christophe Cachat (CIO, CEVA Logistics), Michael Lütjann (CIO, Imperial Logistics), Mario Harik (CIO, XPO Logistics), Henri Linière (Global CIO, GEODIS) and others.
