Transmetrics presents at Plug and Play Selection Day

On March 27th, Transmetrics attended a Plug and Play Selection Day (Batch 0) in Berlin. The event was focused on Supply Chain & Logistics (SC&L) and Energy & Sustainability (E&S).

Transmetrics’ Senior Marketing Manager, Tim Koroteev, presented Transmetrics predictive cargo planning solution during the Startup Pitches session for the SC&L vertical.

Mr. Koroteev shared the stage with other innovative minds representing several startups from SC&L industry such as Valuechain, Prewave, Deep Eyes, LexaTexer, OMNI:US, AddVolt, Contractus, Sennder and Fibres.

The event included Keynote speeches delivered by Saeed Amidi, CEO of Plug and Play, Steve Wells, COO of Fast Future, and Luca Silipo, CRO of Geodis.

In addition to that, startup pitches were judged by major Supply Chain & Logistics corporate participants from DHLEricssonPanalpinaSpeedcast, Geodis, CMA CGMMaersk and TUI Group. Based on the evaluation, the startups were selected to have one-to-one meetings with corporate participants in order to provide a better understanding of their products/services and discuss possible collaborations.

The event finished with an exclusive dinner reception, where all the participants had a chance to network in a more informal tone

The Selection Day also kicked-off Plug and Play very own platform in Berlin. According to the organizers, over the course of 3 months, each vertical will bring together corporate innovators, young companies, and venture capitalists to facilitate pilot projects and serious consideration for investment. Each 3-month batch occurs twice per year, beginning with Selection Day and ending with an EXPO to showcase the progress of participating startups.
